In an administrative decision aimed at ensuring operational continuity, the Union Ministry of Education has extended the tenure of Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal as Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP).
Prof. Bansal’s regular term concluded today, July 27, 2026. Under the extension order, he will remain in office until a new Vice Chancellor is formally selected and takes charge.
